A nod to the 1987 Corolla FX16, it gets a few subtle updates to the exterior and interior but sticks with the same chassis and engine as the standard model. The real standout is the new 18-inch alloy wheels, which resemble those from the Nightshade trim but come with a Gloss White finish for a rally-inspired look. The color options are limited to three choices: Ice Cap (white), Inferno (orange), and Blue Crush Metallic (blue).<\/p>\n<div id=\"taboola-mid-article\"><\/div>\n<div id=\"taboola-mid-article-thumbnails-organic\"><\/div>\n<p>Inside, the car continues with a sporty, yet subtle vibe. The black upholstery is accented with orange stitching on the dashboard, door cards, gear knob, and seats. You\u2019ll find a 7-inch digital instrument cluster and an 8-inch infotainment display, which feels small compared to the 10.5-inch screen available on the FX sedan. Still, you do get wireless charging and Toyota Safety Sense 3.0, so at least it\u2019s got the basics covered.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Carry-Over Chassis And Powertrain<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Unlike the FX sedan, which got a lowered suspension and sportier steering setup, the hatchback sticks with the same chassis as the regular model. It\u2019s a bit of a missed opportunity, as if you\u2019re going to give the car a sportier look, why not give it a more dynamic drive to match? If you\u2019re looking for a rush of excitement, this isn\u2019t the car for you. It\u2019s a solid engine, but it won\u2019t set any hearts racing.<\/p>\n<p>The 2026 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.carscoops.com\/tag\/toyota\">Toyota<\/a> Corolla Hatchback FX is set to hit US <a href=\"https:\/\/www.carscoops.com\/tag\/dealers\/\">dealerships<\/a> this fall, with a limited run of just 1,600 units.
